Honestly, I didn't expect that. The forum wonked out for a second and it loaded a mostly blank screen. I went back to the reply page and tried again. That's some awesome timing, forum.

Happy thread: I just aced an open-note, book-required Psychology test. Without the book. Again. That's the second of two tests that I've forgotten my book for and passed anyway. I feel like a badass, and Wikipedia is my wizened mentor.

Great parallel to my recent post in the rage thread.

Well, as I aspire to one day make indie games, and maybe even make them well, the three disciplines I must master are graphics, sound and programming. I have the programming just about down, or at least to an acceptable level where I can either solve problems or understand a given solution, and there is little I can currently do about sound, but I can draw graphics! So today I thought to further practice my pixel art skills, and the end result I am very happy with! Small, but I think very nice looking.

You could use some more volume on that cloud, but the color palette is just great.

I'm also a digital artist who's working to get into either games or illustration.

Graphics design isn't exactly a primary focus for me, and I have just about no training in it, but a required skill for making dem vidjeo gamez. Unless your making a roguelike, something I plan to do sometime.

Holy shit.
Cooking all day.
All fucking day because of some project tomorrow.
Said project involves everybody in a language class cooking food and 'selling' it the next day.
I made little bite-sized inarizushi.
They're so cute and greasy.
Too bad there's no foxes at this school. :b

Everyday at uni.
Yup.
Stuff that makes me hungry.
Well, time to cook!

So I've been trying to diagnose what's wrong with my friend's laptop all day. I've finally got it to boot! from a linux disc instead of erroring out repeatedly (it's a win7 machine) and what I have learned is that windows is somehow corrupted and fucked, and Sony Vaios suck horribly.

I'm going to salvage what I can with an external and then restore.

-Snip of spider speech-
Sounds scary as hell. We occasionally get relatively big spiders over here, but they usually don't move until you look away. They're also black and grey which makes them look kind of friendly. And awesome. But still really scary. Have you every caught one in your sink, turned the tap on, and tried to bash it through the sinkhole with something while it desperately holds on with it's legs? It's really creepy because they lose all of their hair, their naked form looks disturbing.
