I just like to pick a map, spawn a brainbot, give him an HSR, and then fly around shooting things. Some pretty insane kills happen, as evidenced by my earlier post :3

Cowering in my basement with my family because of the tornado warning is oddly calming.

The thing to remember is that tornadoes are more afraid of you then you are of them.

So rip off your shirt and run up them stairs growling, and you should be able to scare it away.

No. Tornadoes are like freaking velociraptors: they don't know fear, don't fear fire, and they WILL get you. Eventually. It is just a matter of time.

I love how we presume so much about the behavior/mentality of an animal that was long extinct before the earliest identifiable proto-human drew breath.

Posted one of the longest screeds I've ever written in my state politics thread.  I'm happy solely and only because it's been tabbed up in my browser for a week now, and I finally got around to writing it.

Okay, and because I'm egotistical enough to enjoy my own writing.  Eat me.

You are beyond quality.  I could elaborate, but why?

I like how we know enough about them to presume that much.

Yes, they show no self-preservation instinct ("know no fear") and will relentlessly pursue their prey to the grave if they must. ::)

They were predators. We fear no less from them.

On another note, it is stupidly hard to maneuver grenade-filled rockets through hallways, but entirely worth it.

I love how you totally missed out on the Jurassic Park reference. Or at least I think it was Jurassic Park. I've seen such velociraptor references enough to know that it's a reference to SOMEthing.

And yes, this is implying I either have not seen or do not remember seeing Jurassic Park in its entirety. It's on my list of "great movies that I can mention I have never seen in their entirety," along with The Princess Bride, most of Star Wars (I think...), and Lord of the Rings.

I don't remember the details well.  It's been too long.  Touché, I guess.

I still think you were describing the Terminator.

The meme (in particular, how widespread it is) irks me more than TherosPherae's particular invocation of it.
