After 3 beers, a glass of wine and an utterly ridiculous glass of baileys, I'm very close to falling down drunk. Everything is funny, but I have an odd compulsion to go to sleep.

Or, y'know, not odd. Maybe I'm just tired.

I've been talking about it for a while, because it really is quite awesome and I'm highly excited to see it all the way through, but we're going to be starting a showing of The Lion in Winter on the Livestream in about 45 minutes or so, and you should totally be there!

Oh man...with Peter O'Toole and Katharine Hepburn?? Aggggh...why must I be stuck at work, I LOVE that movie.

You'll want to look into installing Stalker Complete to eliminate bugs.

Oh god the bugs. Be thankful this game has a decent autosave system.

There are lots of great mods.  Stalker Complete is probably the best experience for a first playthrough.  This is one game I actually recommend modding right from the beginning.  After that, browse the GSC forums a bit and explore some of the other material.  It has one of the best modding scenes, in my opinion.

And don't forget to make a " -noprefetch" shortcut to get rid of the infuriating random load-barriers.  Other than that, mack out with your 'facts out.

I might show it again. I know there were other folks who wanted to catch it, and didn't get a chance to today. Maybe over the next school break or something! The movie just wrapped up, but we'll probably be continuing with other stuff.

Yeah, i caught a few seconds of it, but Livestream (or more likely, the ads accompanying it) made my poor work laptop its bitch. Plus, streaming video for any length of time tends to attract the attention of the guys in network security.  :-\

The impressive part isn't that it dug all that but that it didn't break the brain or the doors.

Installed stalker complete and now the game doesn't run.

Yeah, I can see why this mod is needed so badly [/sarcasm]
