After my previous relationship, which didn't really end badly, I'm used to dealing with the notion that in addition to breakups, my partner might even die.  If you can accept that, you can accept anything.  (She had some serious medical issues, but isn't doing too bad now.)  Each day is awesome, heartbreak is fleeting, and memories last for a lifetime.  Put your whole heart into everything, and if you fall down, just do it again.

I have a pretty lucky mindset, I guess.  :O  But yeah, if things keep going well, we'll try that whole "year and a day" thing and go from there.

I've archived most every major post from the discussion. I intend to start a new Forum Metathread once I sort out the issues, and can establish rules for the discussion that will keep things constructive, and from needing to be locked. A lot of people are upset about several things, and it seems as though much is being left unsaid. Worse, people who silence themselves are motioning to leave the community... and I would really like to avoid losing my ties to a ton of creative, sane, and reasonable folks whom I care about.

This actually makes me happy.
