I know the feeling. I have design documents for a good 20 something games written out, with detail on plot lines, characters , items, levels, dialogue, in most cases I have class diagrams for how I would program the logic of it, and in some cases I have built parts of the model already... But the graphics are always a bottle neck.

Heh, maybe we should try working together. hell, we might get enough done that we are actually able to work on the art till it's decent

Graphics are the only thing I'm realy having trouble with, and I have seen indie games with multiple amateur artists, they turn into a mess because neither party knows how to communicate about art, so they can never get on the same page. There is a good reason that artists that are already very good at what they do go to art school, to learn how to be professional about it, because without that training things become more trouble then they are worth. Thanks for the offer, but I shall work on alone.
