With a name like that, I would assume it uses a 2-man crew and if there's any problem with it, a single light goes on indicating there's a problem that needs fixing.

I just remembered from earlier today during the outreach(where we deliver food and Jesus <_<), we helped "save" a woman. I helped(merely by standing there), not so much for the "Jesus" part, but mainly the "help a random stranger" part(which I figure would a bit more important than praising Jesus). Her description of her life was pretty bad, but she definitely left with a much brighter outlook on life, and I'm happy for that.

I had a unique sort of dream last night, which was a lot like watching a film. I wasn't really in the dream, per say, but my perspective alternated between 3rd and 1st person from the protagonist's perspective; it focused on a young man in that hazy period between being a boy and a man, who had run away from home and wound up among a secretive and close-knit hill community in the American south. The dream followed his growth, from first meeting the people (warning shots and guard dogs, while running through the wooded hills), to working on a farm with a family, attending a marriage celebration, and generally exploring the town and meeting its denizens.

Most of the dream was about meeting and understanding the characters in the dream; the silent and grim-faced hunter with his two old dogs, the matriarch of the huge farm family which took him in, the jaded younger woman who struggled with the community over her Mexican heritage, the mousy school teacher who taught short lessons each day, and various children and young people of the community. I kinda want to make something with it, but I'm not sure what.

I have a dream.

That dream is to not spend another semester at this bloody school friendless, and to move out of here to a room that is a. cheaper b. closer to campus b. somewhere where I will have a roommate, because as much as I thought I wanted to be in a room by myself for three months I was completely fucking wrong.

Wrrrrrrrrrooooooong.

As such, I'll be getting back to the housing search.  As much as having a roommate would drive me nuts, being alone in a room 24/7 is driving me way, way more nuts.  Like "why would you even do that to yourself" nuts.

Also, I managed to solve almost half of the math homework due on Friday in about an hour.  Good on me.

I'd never considered it before, but this probably explains the odd downer moods you've complained of.  Excessive isolation has profound effects on a person, even the most independent and introverted.  Complete solitary confinement drives people suicidally and delusionally insane.  Being around people for parts of daily life with little meaningful interaction plus long stretches actually alone in a room will just mess with you a bit.
