My dad once won a fight against a black belt in some form of fighting sport. I'm pretty sure it was Judo.

Apparently my dad has a black belt that he used for his bodyguard job back before us kids were born.

I have no idea how that would work.

Keep that in mind when he's nagging you.  He could dragon kick your head off.

I have no faith my my dads ability to be that limber.

He could probably punch me through a wall though.

Sometimes I think I might be secretly badass in the field of intuitively knowing other people's motives.  I'm pretty good at it, most of my family is actually.  Other times I worry that maybe I'm like Rorschach and the motives I'm assigning to people's actions aren't actually accurate at all and the reason I think they are is because I'm crazy.

What was my motive for typing this comment?
[stealingpost] You are trying to be a snarky bastard by providing Cthulhu with as little information as possible.[/stealingpost] Also, you are repressing your homosexual feelings (unless you believe yourself to be a homosexual, in which case you are repressing your heterosexual feelings) and have a Oedipus Complex also because of repressed memories.

You now owe me 24,000$ for my awesome unlicensed psychoanalysis.

You really aren't thinking like a dwarf.

If you think it is down too far, you move it up until it reaches an acceptable elevation.

Despite not having watched the original, I assure you this is 10 times better, despite the slightly misapplied sounds.  This pleases me.

so, just listened to the first hour of the Ellantris audio books. I'm liking it so far, and I'm already noticing a style. I think I'm gonna start a topic where I talk about it.

Audiobooks are much easier to listen to when driving than written books.

I don't mind listening to written books while driving. It can get a little monotonous though. I like the quite parts the best.

Ok, reading works for me again. I'm slowly increasing in material read per day. Maybe I can reach my 'former glory' in time.
So while I do not have the possibility to socialize and hold meaningful conversations, I can console myself with books.
Might be good in the long run.
