I'm listening to Pantera right now. Sure, it sucks having to put my speakers up to my ears and use them like headphones, but it's Pantera.

That looks like the same animation style as the guy who does The Boondocks.

That's exactly what I thought while watching.

Does it help that Stan Lee is writing it? Yes, that Stan Lee. The Spiderman one.

And yet there are questions, such as, why is the team of spunky teenage sidekicks all Caucasian?
My best guess?  One of guys will turn out to be utterly lazy so Arnold will have to let him go and hire someone more racially diverse.  It's a ploy by the makers of the show so they have an excuse to make Arnold say, "you're fired" so we lose all interest in Trump, ever.

In my opinion, none of the sidekicks should be white and maybe two of them should be women.  The star of the show is a white male, that should be enough.

Guys, AAAAA is just as random as ADEBC.

Thanks.

When I was growing up, there were exactly two authors I read who had strong female main characters with ambitions outside of getting a boyfriend.  There was precisely one who kept those female main characters as a lead.

I'm going to write the latter a thank-you letter, probably today, for giving me some books where the women weren't completely useless.  So if you want to keep on spreading your bullshit, go for it, but I am fucking sick and tired of dealing with this every single day from people on these forums and off of it.

I hope that wasn't a sarcastic 'thanks'. It's hard to tell from the context.

What was the name of this author? I could use a change of main character. I may have already recommended her to you, but Marion Zimmer Bradley is pretty good at creating women in novels. I haven't read all of her works, but that's what I'm thinking after reading several of her Avalon books. In particular, The Mists of Avalon has quite a few good female characters, who randomly trade off being the main character. Guinevere is a stereotypical worthless princess, but the others are good. Be warned, though. Parts of it (read: the romance parts) read like a trashy romance novel.

Note the words "fucking bullshit."  That was sarcasm.  On the day when we start randomly rolling up BBBBB, we can talk.  Until then, forget it.

Also, Tamora Pierce.

I have a copy of The Mists of Avalon, but I've never read it.  I got tired of reading about baby-making and witches, when what I really wanted to read about was the exploits of Lancelot and Arthur (or some female equivalent).  Fffff.

Crom laughs at your political correctness.

Then again, IIRC by the 90s it was pretty common for cartoons to have diverse casts (outwardly, at least).  So if he's going for the 90s feel, maybe a more Planeteer-ish team of sidekicks is better.
