This seems kinda obvious.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I think that that article you linked is mildly funny, but I think it looks at everything far too 'deeply', going so far as to make unrelated conjectures about society from the tiniest slivers of data. There's a point when Freudian correlations are funny, and then there is the vast beyond, which is where this lies. That tree is not phallic. Phalli generally do not widen nearer to the tip, and few if any have gigantic leafy heads.

"...the sequence is repeated to evoke the grand progenitor of all American music, the call and response of a Negro spiritual, hearkening back to our nation's great unhealing wound, slavery itself."

I think that the 'itself' is unnecessary, merely another arcane word to produce the illusion of metaphor. The sentence is actually more effective as a simple

"...the sequence is repeated to evoke the grand progenitor of all American music, the call and response of a Negro spiritual, hearkening back to our nation's great unhealed wound, slavery."

Funny in some ways, but I think the writer went a little overboard and thought that they could just bedazzle people with their word choice.

We don't have tazers around here afaik. But then again, most of the police officers I know are (or rather were) those dudes responsible for drugs and stuff.
