The neatness of it reminds me more of a lotus than a rose.
Interesting what you associate food with, though.
Not something I tend to do.

Ah, well, it just has that sort of fortressy shape... artichokes are great.

You're right that it does look a lot like some types of lotus.  I think I was thinking specifically of the really big, wide ones that tend to have that scrunched-up center, like in the picture.

ein those pictures are awesome.  Not creepy.  Just neat.

Vector, I can relate to where you are.  For the longest time, I associated with people I didn't really like and who didn't treat me well.  They just didn't treat me as bad as everyone else.  Of the two people I hung out with the most, one was just neutral towards me and didn't have anything better to do.  When I was made fun of by classmates or something, he would be laughing along with everyone else.  He really didn't care.  Otherwise he was fun to be around.  The other just used me, and was decent towards me so long as I stuck around and made life fun for him.  Those were the closest I had to real life friends from ages 8-15.

Then my family got internet, I made real friends, realized how shitty everyone I knew IRL was, and stopped having anything to do with any of them.

Back, back ye temptress! Your words can tempt me not! With the glory of the holy light, I fear not any minion you send to consume my mortal body!

I don't know what's going on. I'm just in a role playing mood, and Palidine came out! I don't even play holy peoplez that often, I prefer rangers and rogues and sorceress and wizards (*Sings* Well I'm a sexy elf wizard with a funny hat! I'll point at you with my wand and I'll give you a zap!) but what ever.

I think it's because I've been playing this shiny new roguelike 'Elona', and man it is kick ass! I mean if somebody gives you a hamburger, and it looks and feels like a hamburger, you expect a hamburger. But what if when you bite into it, it tastes just like cake? Well you qould be both confused and happy. Elona is some somebody gave you a roguelike, and it tastes like Japan.

Elona is indeed awesome.
I have in the past mentioned my escapades as a 12 year old catgirl prostitute who uses various weapons heavier than she is.

Right now I'm sort of role playing it as a 22 year old catgirl vampire. I tried to play as a male, but there is just too many female body parts compared to male parts, it feels like your missing out. Can't dress guys up with ribbons...

In light of our previous discussions in the sad thread, I laughed.  Thank you.

While I am open to dressing guys up to look cute, I have yet to see an example of a guy laced with lace and making it work...

Well, yeah, I am responsible for all of the crossdressing that happened in my senior English class.

Some men look really nice in floor-length blue velvet, by the way.
