These forums made me happy. The majority of people here are MUCH more mature and intelligent than most other people I've seen on the internet.

The amount of times a variant of this has appeared in this thread makes me happy

So I just spent... an hour? drafting up a map of the Nordic states.
Not for Social Studies or some crap like that.
It's for Math.
Because conic sections.
Yeah.
My rough sketch was full of SatW references, but I decided against that for the final.
Not sure why.

Spoiler: Shoop. (click to show/hide)

Font is Gentium Book, bold and italicised.
Maps shamelessly ripped and edited from Wikipedia.
Flags too.
Yeah, I know, no Faroe Islands or Gotland.
Nobody at school will know, though.

Denmark is awesome. I wanted to go there, but encountered financial problems :< . Also, visiting the REALLY northern parts of Europe would be nice. I want to see some fjords and mountains. We only have boring plains.

Edit: Btw, how's the nature in Denmark? I've only checked out architecture.

Denmark is often associated with pancakes. We're a flat, beachy land with tons of islands. We have a lot of coast and some extremely nice beaches, close to paradise in the summer. We have a bit of forest, but if your goingt to Denmark it's for the beaches, the history or the architecture. Or the tons of beer.

I want to see some fjords and mountains.

Why did I read this as "fjords and monsters"?

Monster hunting trip to the north. It must be done. Next time I plan to go on vacation, I'll remember to pack my lance.

The first one is for a Roguelike, I've not started work on it. The second is for Elona, and the third is an application for showing a preview of a T-Shirt with various factors such as logos and text, as well as ordering it, which I have to do for class

Well that would explain why I couldn't make any sense of them, they are all separate projects.  :P
