@Telle: According to the Store Manager, the other vendor probably did the right thing. He then burst into laughter. I mean, what else was he supposed to do. "So, I see you've found some pretty awesome porn," isn't the most appropriate sales pitch.

@MoM: My location is in my profile. You can probably guess what my main account is, considering that I work almost exclusively in electronics stores.

Edit for ninjas: @Cfoofoo: Correct.

@Telle again: Pretty much anything on Showtime, HBO, or Cinemax?

He was just flipping channels, and happened to stop there. I think his brain broke, considering the TV.

Edit: added link.

Well, "Earth Hour" was pretty great. My family sat around in candlelight and played the most hilarious game we have. During this, thunder and lightning nearly exploded things outside.

Is that stuff complete form scratch including a new case? Sounds like specs similar to what I have(Alright the processor is much better, and I have to account my old card before it fried), and my cost was only like $500.

Today was the second most nervous day of my life. Today was the second happiest day of my life. Today contained the happiest moment of my life that I will willingly share with the internet (thus far).

Spoiler: It finally happened. (click to show/hide)
My team won State in Knowledge Bowl, beating out over 100 other teams. Our captain was home with the flu, but I convinced my team that we still had a shot, and we pulled together to win anyway, though we were outnumbered. (One person, especially the captain, makes a huge difference. I had to learn answering protocol and such as we went throughout the day.) I practiced for this competition for more than a year, going so far as to read entire history textbooks cover to cover. (It was also fun in it's own right.) It was the first year in almost a decade that a public school won the competition, the first time in two decades that a school in our half of the state won the competition, and the first time in three decades that my team has even been in the top 10. It was like an 80's movie, but with nerds and trivia instead of stereotypical high school students and sports. We evened listened to montage music between rounds.

Holy god damn this feels nice.

It's awesome that you pulled that off, Barbarossa. Don't forget to flaunt your champion-ness for as long as possible, to as many people as possible.

In other happy thread news: Superjail Season 2 starts April 4th. Hell. Fucking. Yes.
