Audiosurf was part of why I switched back.
Touhou and the fact that my sound card wasn't fully supported were the others.

It gets pretty humorous when you realize how bad Linux audio is even beyond your sound card might not be supported. That's probably one of the biggest complaints (aside from "why won't it natively run all my windows applications").

WOW.

Toony, one of us needs to make a server/client for that so we can play it. It's like tactical wargaming in the 1600s. I love it.

I once saw a ruleset for playing Go in three dimensions.
Also, I know how to play four dimensional Tic-Tac-Toe.

Current situation at the end of day 1 of the 2 day Boer War Crisis committee

British Victories: 0
Boer Victories: Many

British Tactics: Line formations
                      Bright red uniforms
                      Single Shot Rifles
                      MASSIVE EGO

Boer Tactics: Fast moving Infantry
                   Machine Guns
                   Mauser Rifles
                   Brown/grey outfits

Most awesome moment: 8,000 Boers routing 64,000 British troopers
Funniest Line: "What if we infected the British troops with AIDs?"

Favorite moment: My troops attacking without my orders in the exact opposite direction I wanted them to.

Alright. That is the best game ever. If I had tokens I would totally set up a board online and invite people to play.

And I would be one of the players, likely.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Also, I know how to play four dimensional Tic-Tac-Toe.
Doesn't sound too hard. The only problem would be always aware of a winning move, as that could be easily lost track of.

I agree that it is amazing.  I'd like to call people's attention in particular to the "Free King" (king that moves like a queen) which seems to promote to a "Giant Eagle" which is a king that moves like a queen and which can jump over other pieces.  You need to get all of your opponents kings, so it would be a nightmare to catch.

Also:
Quote
Rook General
    * Range capture: The rook general can fly over any number of squares along a straight line in any orthogonal direction, so long as they don't contain a royal (king or crown prince) or another range capturing piece. All pieces it flies over are removed from the game.

I would play it 24/7 and never ever finish a game.

That is really awesome. I am really tempted to bring ye old paint/GIMP out and make it up.

Yeah. You got to be awesome with your pieces.

Yeah, it's easy to pick up, but requires a lot more strategy than even 3-dimensional.
Great fun if you're playing somebody who knows what they're doing.

I was made aware of WebGL. Ho-lee crap. I didn't know some of these things could be done in a browser :O
3D graphics in a web browser and making use of the graphics hardware = EPIC.
