Nope. The gypsies that were in France, Spain, Italy and even the UK are pretty well-behaved. It's the ones from the more recent additions to the EU that cause trouble, make ramshackle camps at the edge of towns, mug, con and pickpocket and so on, and they're the ones that governments (Hooray; neo-fascist Italy.) are trying to send back.

After giving the newly admitted countries crap that they can't "integrate them into society", when the problem reaches their doorstep, they just sweep it out and pretend it's not any of their business. But that discussion belongs in the Rage Thread.

Clever thinking. I'll admit I don't know anything about Gypsies except they saved the Secret Seven once and James Bond likes to watch them fight.

Well, culturally, they are very interesting, though a bit unsettling with a side order of squick in some aspects.

They're also frighteningly clever at making ways to dupe people. It also warms my heart in a twisted way that Romanian organized crime has managed to dislodge and scare off even the well-established Irish criminal operations in some areas.

Physical Education, basically they throw us into the schools gym, give us two balls and let us do whatever, on rare occasions we are forced to do timed sprints on the nearby track.

We did daily timed runs, a mile run every three week, crunches, stretches, pushups, and three-week rotations for sports.  With tournaments.  I was only good at hockey, and that mostly because I had spent so much time doing kendo that I went "Oh, a stick?  This must mean that we're on a battlefield!"  Well, and badminton.  I was pretty good at badminton.


I am happy today because I may have an actual chance of finishing everything I planned to do today, and on top of that I managed to translate half of an artbook in an hour and a half.

Also, I found an online draw-in-the-kanji dictionary, which makes lookups that much faster.

Ooo share? I've always been frustrated by seeing kanji that I had no idea how to sound out, much less figure out the translation.
