Moliere had serious stones, to be sure, but my experience of Rabelais is that his writing is fairly average.  I've only read Marriage of Figaro, though.
I don't think Rabelais wrote the Marriage of Figaro. I've never read it though only heard the opera. Rabelais is famous Pantagruel which was a major piece of trolling.

First Mafia game after a long, long time of not really playing.

I can't believe how much I'd missed it.

And we've all missed you.

Oh, crap!  I was thinking about Beaumarchais.  Sorry about that >_<  Beaumarchais did write Le Mariage de Figaro, which is an excellent piece of classical theater but certainly not very trolly at all.  I still highly recommend it.  Romantic period, though, so your mileage may vary on the ending.

Notre-Dame de Paris, Pere Goriot... and Hernani.  I remember reaching the endings and wanting to shout "Okay, guys, come on.  What the fuck is this?"  Pere Goriot especially made me want to stab someone.  NDdP... well, by the end, I'd sort of figured out that it wasn't going to go so well, but the very last line is actually shockingly trolly.

As far as translations go, give me a couple of minutes.  Are you ordering from Amazon?

One of my comments on a webcomic was used in an episode of the same webcomic, and I only just noticed. It's beautiful.
