You... don't have to apologize to me =/

It's not about doing math.  It's about doing whatever you can do as well as you can, and I'm sure you'll find that thing and beat the everloving tar out of it :I

Hosting get-togethers every week is pretty exhausting, with cooking, cleanup, and so on; I just finished getting everyone settled for the night, and cleaning up things so the cats don't get into them, so I can finally sleep. Luckily, we have a good time, and I do enjoy hosting for little things like movie nights.

Still, I'm starting to question whether I should okay booze at our get-togethers. I don't mind it myself, and most of my friends are reasonable people so nothing gets out of hand... but I'm not too keen on having to play Mother Hen with the few who aren't. I don't enjoy having to try to explain, to someone who has had too much to drink, why it's inappropriate to go back for more at 2am, when half of the room needs to wake up in under 6 hours, or why it's not cool to unload Airsoft Guns at a copy of the Communist Manifesto in a room full of people, especially after telling them explicitly not to fire them in the house.

Ah well. I'm glad I can be authoritative when I need to, I suppose. :3

Anyway, this thread just reminded me that I totally need to finish Notre-Dame de Paris. Ach, I remain buried under books! Supposing I'll be sleeping with Hugo once more tonight.

Spending the nest 16 hours at a Jazz festival.

It will be insane.

So, From Waking up at 7, Leaving at 9, Riding the bus until 12, Doing shit till 8 and watching a concert going until 10 no wait your coming back on stage okay that's cool too And getting home at 1:30, I have spent the past 18 and a half hours with the people that make me the least sane.

I am exhausted, is what I'm very poorly saying.

But so cool.

You are now in the out-of-context thread.

Realmfighter, that sounds extremely awesome. Yay Jazz!

There was a concert that started with a Big band playing, and then M-Pact. About halfway through they called our schools senior Vocal jazz group onto stage to perform. When they finished This There Percussion guy did a solo when every other member walked off stage. He proceeded to do his thing for a good 5 minutes, at which point they all walk back onto the stage and I realize that we were getting home at least one hour late. I also got my music folder (Those crappy ones that fall apart in a few months) Signed by the 6 members who were there and Dave Pietro who played the first "Half"

Begging and pleading worked then?  Non-major laxity scores again.

Heh, according to this folder, my name is Jeff Smith & Morten Kier, I am being Taught by Jesus Christ, I graduated from M-PHS and I play Dave Pietro.

I have spent the past 18 and a half hours with the people that make me the least sane.

Let me emphasise this. I think I asked one how many angels he had to kill to get his voice. He told me he backed over an angel once in his Car, and then he could sing.
