I burned several hours fiddling around with MuseScore today, and I think it might actually be vaguely acceptable for getting used to actually trying to get the tunes out of my head for the near future. Huzzah! /o/

My free copy of Silent Hunter 5 Came in the mail today. (Along with a copy of SH3 I requested since I lost my copy)  Installing. I suppose I'm gonna have to start looking for mods though since I heard vanilla is pretty crap.

I just ate some un-buttered popcorn. With added butter, salt and icing sugar that is!

It was surprisingly good...

The super-moon doesn't appear much larger than normal, but god damn is it bright. I can't even stare at it for extended periods of time.

I could probably read a book right now by the moonlight alone, which I would probably do if not for:

A. That book being House of Leaves.
B. Mosquitoes.
C. A not-fully-subdued fear of darkness.
D. Slender-paranoia.
E. Normal paranoia.

Tonight's moonrise was a pretty awesome watch. Looked like a shiny penny rising from the horizon. Real shame I didn't have my camera with me at the time.

My girlfriend wrote a song for me.
I feel happy now, because it wasn't shit, unlike all of the other songs that are happy.
She writes songs because she wants to be in the music business. I can only look upon her and frown.
She can sing acceptably well, but she doesn't have good stage presence, and she is shy about everything.

However, the song was nice, and I liked it.
It made me feel special.
