Actually, Tolkien had Beren and Luthien written on his & his wife's graves.  Perhaps Gandalf acts more as the proxy voice of the author, but still :P

He's more awesome in the books anyway.  Every character is, actually, without any exception I can think of.  And dwarves aren't abused as comic relief... except for Bombur.  He's the only one.  Out of dozens.

Sorry.  I can't hear mention of those movies without dropping a bit of rage.

Apparently they dropped the Eroge bit after a while. And I think versions of the VNs with those parts removed are avalible.

I looked it up, and just as I suspected, it's only for the PS2. They almost never make all-ages versions for the PC. :/
