On the same topic, me and two friends will start with the new Pokemon game, once the 3DS comes out.

Pokemone B/W has actually been marvellously good so far, three badges in. I thought Gen II and IV were middling at best and Gen III was okay, but this is the first one that's really been living up to Gen I for me. The new pokemon aren't weird futuristic crap nor are they shitty and unoriginal and derivative etc. The dog evolution chain (starting with Lillipup) that you can get at the beginning of the game is just adorable/majestic as well. Not a fan of the starters, but everything else has felt pretty great to me.
