no im using the rest of my student loan to pay for games, i already paid my tuition so the rest is for me.

The smart thing is to stockpile it for next semester because they can and will refuse to give you money 'till a fifth of the class has passed. Apparently the concept of buying the books you need for the class at the start of the class is beyond them.

I am not happy yet, but I'm gonna go shop, buy cola and cake and then when I'm back I'll continue trying to design the perfect dwarf-barracks for and if I get anywhere THEN I'll be happy beyond happy.

3 of the books i bought early for school has yet to be used, those were a huge chunk of my disbursement.

 Classes are crapshoots when it comes to books. Some won't even use them, others will cripple you for life if you didn't buy them before your first class. Best have funds ready anyway.

 Edit: And yeah, financial aid is anything but reliable. Always be prepared for it to dick you over.

This. Jesus this. Wasting 600$ on games is ridiculous, when any number of things could go wrong. Your school could screw up and fail to pay out grants for months. This happened. Mine is under investigation, apparently, because they basically failed to pay out pell to everyone well into the semester. Your car could break down, or you could get sick. There are lots of things that can go wrong. Don't waste it on video games.

(I can't believe I'm actually saying this  :o)

im not blowing out all of it in games, just 40 bucks, i already have a job paying the rest of my living expenses and 1000 in the bank for emergencies, what more do you want from me?

You could remember you said use the rest of your loan to pay for games and not act indignant when people tell you the truth, it's a horrible idea the way you put it.
