I found Touhou after playing some BS Forever, then finding Fraxy, then finding the game series. Never caught wind of TVtropes until a while after that.

Seems Anon has uncovered emails from the hacked security company detailing a plan by three security companies working together with Bank of America to take down Wikileaks. I guess someone must have some dirty laundry they would rather not be exposed.

That they were proposing cyber attacks shows they must be very desperate to prevent information leaking about something in those files.

Quiz tiem: Why am I happy?
A) NGE:ND is extremely epic and badass. Reading it makes me pumped up to kick life in the teeth and run my own show.
B) The scanner that I was supposed to get last week will now be coming for real, within a week of today.
C) My history teachers attempts at playing a video on the Industrial Revolution led to him screening a video that was ten minutes of softcore porn followed up by a rant on the superiority of gay culture.
D) I, a high school sophomore, got offered an engineering job at Iowa State, alongside a scholarship, because of some test scores.
E) All the above.

He got recommended a Dropbox-esque website a few years back, and to sort of test it out, he put this particular video on there. It was on the schedule for today, but he couldn't find the physical copy, so he decided to rummage around on that website to find his video, which he had not labeled very well. Instead, he found a video that was, well, ten minutes of softcore porn. At the end of that segment, Viva Homo showed up in big Roman lettering, with dramatic music and lens flare, and some jerkass started berating America for not adopting "the far better culture present in California, which should be attributed to the gays for being better people than everyone else".

He usually will put on a video, tell us to behave, and then leave and go talk to the physics teacher down the hall. It was basically either a young bear or an Italian stereotype groping this lady wearing ski-gear, out on a boardwalk.

Tonight PBS's Nova has an episode about IBM's Watson (premieres at 10PM EST from what I gather). And as a reminder, Watson will be playing on Jeopardy from Feb 14 to Feb 16 against Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter.
