Great day outside, it almost feels like spring, spent most of it messing around with my cousins, making this base on top of a large pile of rocks with a tree nearby, also some very leafy stuff growing all over it.Have several rotten wood poles to support some sort of roof or something.We also burned some big bushes to clear them out, that was very fun to look at.

All in all, a great day that i spent outside and i feel great, now i need to do my homework which isn't very great

After Borderlands fatally crashed twice in as many hours, I remember that I still have a can of compressed air sitting around.  I killed the can and nearly killed myself emptying a metric ton of particulate out of the tower.  Hopefully I'll reclaim some of the performance I swear I've lost, which might make up for the fan now being louder, and what I've done to my desk.

One of my roommates says she'd like to trade raw ingredients for food.

This is excellent, because it doesn't take me much effort or money to make an extra portion or two of whatever I'm making, and I'll be able to get things I can't justify purchasing myself--milk, tomato paste, sour cream, cheese... mostly dairy and processed foods.  Huzzah!


Also, I now have six balls of fine undyed white wool and a pair of lovely wooden knitting needles.  Scarf-ho!

I find it pretty hilarious that I was literally making myself sick whenever I cooked less than 3 months ago.


@Tellemurius: Yup, there will definitely be pictures once I'm done.  I also have an apron in the works, which I'll probably be able to show off in a month and a half or so (I'm making it over spring break).

Do it!  I'd like to see, especially if you show pictures of the process--I'm hoping to make myself a long coat at some point, because they don't make them for women in the styles I like :I  I want some passants and a higher cross-over point for the fabric, and a bit less hip adherence... pff.
