I had to trade the table I was using as a computer desk for an actual computer desk (owner of the table wanted it back). New desk didn't fit my computer properly so I had to "fix" it. A couple hours later I think I'm finally done modding it. I may need to smooth some corners but for now I'm happy that the thing's together comfortably enough to use.
