The new rebirth of Lego continues to impress me.  Last year I bought the Hotrod Space Towtruck (so boss).  Now I've found a newer model to compliment it - Mackin' Space Limo.  Yes, that is a Pimp'thulhu Lego figure, canonically named "Brick Daddy".  God I love you, new corporate overlords of my oldest love.

Borderlands continues to impress.  I was persuaded to play the Berserker.  I had already killed the same devildog boss I already had my toreador-esque fight with before, and mopped the floor with him by beating him to death.

I saw some enemies stuck behind a rock wall.  After wasting some rifle fire on them, I decided, "Screw it, how tough can they be?" and leaped over.  Fight into the teeth of a whole mob of tough dudes, including a devildog breed I'd never seen before who was way out of my league.  Thus ensued a melee of shotgunnery, beatings of asses, being chew on, and throwing cluster-bombs at my feet.  I emerged sans some ammo and at 10% health, victorious.

I know it's just a videogame, but I've played a lot of videogames over quite a bit of time.  I've never before literally fired into the air in celebration.

Oh man, I love the huge skags and rakks and stuff, good times.  The rakk hive is less than impressive, and also really gross.

I like Borderlands because it's one of the few games I'm actually decent at. Nine-toes? Castrated. Sledge? Hammered. Skagzilla? Lazor goes out, bullets go in. I would go on like this, but I haven't actually made a lot of progress after that.
