Serious Sam II's music is pretty respectable.  It's not 30 second loops of WAAAARRRGGHGHHHHHHH like the first game, which might be better or worse depending on person.

Some more.

I especially like this one, because fighting a hundred enemies with this playing is pretty fun.

Watching this movie right now

I love you Woody.
Funniest failure of a super hero ever. Well, as far as I remember.
Now I want to see this movie.

I may be losing long-range vision, but I can still view stereograms and even stereovideo perfectly.

On that note,

God damn you. I spent 10 minutes with that thing before I could see it right, with firefox zoomed out, and now my eyes will be stuck in magic eye mode for the next hour or so, making text nearly impossible for me to read.

The apparent cognitive slowdown I've been experiencing was easily remedied by undereating and making sure I spent much of yesterday hungry, as well as filling up on water instead of going for snacks.

I thought I was getting dumb, but apparently I was just eating too much... suddenly, I actually feel smart again.

Sisters birthday today. She is currently under a condition she set up herself where she can't have sweets, so no cake. To make up for this my parents made a Birthday Lasagna.

 Best birthday replacement ever.

Fuck those magic eye things.  I found one of those books in elementary school and now I have a lazy eye for the rest of my life.

Uh... just make sure you don't starve yourself in your quest for greatness.

Don't worry.  I'm well aware of the "past here your brain turns into Swiss cheese and you will feel nonexistent earthquakes" line, and I'm nowhere near there.  I'm just moving over from heavy meals to grazing as necessary.  Dunno why, but... suddenly I can concentrate and my discipline has returned, which is cool.

I always have emergency food with me--about 500 calories of nuts--so I can get a little something if I'm losing my ability to concentrate on the task at hand.

Might also be because of the dream I repeated last night, though, which I had at what was probably the turnaround point of my convalescence.

Fair enough.  As long as it's not the "The less I eat, the better I'll become!" mentality.

Absolutely not.  I know from experience that life does not work this way >_>

I am also happy today because my parents are proud of me and think I am not screwing life up, which is a nice change.  For once, they appear to actually be impressed.

Viper gang attack concussed me. And Fiends knocked the shit out of me and I took a .308 to the leg. And barely. I got to freeside only by eating the corpses of those fiends you saw me around and then I had to kill 4 MORE while barely functional.
