Been a bit depressed lately. Friends showed up at my doorstep this morning as something of a surprise, dragged me out to breakfast, and then out to the Detroit Auto Show. Then I came home, and my roommate and another friend had set up a series of furniture-based barricades and defenses in my living room, hallway, and bedroom, with the intent of holding off my "invasion" of my home with an arsenal of Nerf guns. They even had additional defenses to fall back to, when I got to besieging their forts with seat cushions, and my 15 lb futon.

It may not make things a lot different, but it definitely made me grin.
