You're better off reading a plot synopsis.
You could also read the manga or play the fighting games.

The fans are actually rather nice about their fandom, simply presenting what they like rather than proclaiming it aloud everywhere as the greatest thing ever. Nice people, so I don't mind 'em. No real interest in their universe, but a bit of fun was had in the one game I played that I forgot.

 It was a cloth hat, so whatever. Just choked it down before replacing it with the helmet. Kinda glad I took so long in putting it back on too.
