I got halfway to the bridge that marks the edge of town, and decided, 'Gods damn, I do not want to do this.' and ran all the way back, but they were gone by the time I got to where they were last.
I think a bus pass would solve all of my problems.
Or a driver's license.
That's one of the main barriers in going anywhere.
It's a dollar twenty-five, or, in two years, two fitty, just for one-way.
Only thirty dollars for a month-long pass.
Definitely worth the money.

I continue to be sick as shit, so doing anything that requires critical thinking feels like a chore.  I really wish I could write some stuff down besides forum posts, but this doesn't use much of my limited supply of brainpower.

In the span of less than twenty five years, I timed some market crashes and massive leveraging to buy out both of my competitor companies, making myself millions in the process.

1) While market is huge, muscle the competition out of their corners of Britain.
2) Make lots of money off my stock in my own company, by cranking the Dividend rate through the roof.
3) When the economy crashes, use my accumulated wealth to buy shitloads of stock in my competitors' companies.
4) Take out millions in bonds while the interest rate is crashed through the floor.
5) Make huge buyout offers on said competition, and since I'm a major shareholder in same companies, millions of my company's borrowed money winds up shoveled into my personal pocket.
6a) Let my company crash under the accumulated debts.  Then start a new company with my personal millions and buy my old company's assets for a song.
6b) Recover along with the economy, paying off all my bonds decades before they mature, being even huger after absorbing all the other companies.

And that's how I came to build a railroad empire, with 27 stations covering every major city south of Scotland, serviced by 52 trains, all between 1830 and 1852.  Isambard Brunel would be proud, I've learned the ways of moguldom.
