I feel sorry for him, but I do kind of feel like it was his fault for taking anything anyone said on /b/ seriously (and double so for doing it on his father's work computer =/).  It probably taught him a very important lesson.

EDIT: Oh my gosh, I'd completely missed the entire section to the right.  Ouch.  That makes it a lot sadder.

Double-edit: Yeah, I was about to say about the changing monitors...

I'd also like to say that I find it funny because I find it fake. I mean who would actually do that, then go through the whole process of asking /b/ and doing as they said?
