Tell me more. I enjoy dreams of the random or scary variety. Scary is better, but random is cool too.

Okay, first I was a human knight and it was all in a 2D 8-bit view. I somehow died... And ended up in a character selection screen. I chose penguin knight because of a +2 magic bonus which was really weird. I had some battles and then it got into a non-standard game over. Apparantly humans come really early and it was all flamey and bad stuff. I cant exactly remember what but thinking about it makes me shiver... After that I was placed into a zoo, turned into a pixie which is completely random. There was a game cameo (Megadrive game). Restarted as penguin knight, managed to go into a cave and escaped. And then I woke up.

I sometimes dream in ASCII (due to dwarf fortress) or in first person shooter perspective complete with HUD (I play mostly fps), but dreaming in 8-bit would probably be awesome.

I have never slept in ASCII but 8-bit is great. Playing megadrive helped.

I had a dream last night where I was dreaming I was wandering around feeling sleepy and drifting off to sleep, and having a dream when sleeping in my dream that I was in bed (this might have been more pseudo-sleepwalking, that has happened before ), but at the same time my bed self was dreaming my dream about wandering around, I drifted between the two as one fell asleep and the other woke up. In both instances of the dream I believed the other dream was the dream and this was reality, but then I switched, and started believing in both dreams that this was the dream and that was reality...

Believe it or not such philosophical quandaries do actually make me happy.
