Tron: Legacy isn't bad. I did have one problem with it at the end, though.

Yes, we solved world hunger, cured cancer and alzheimer's, fixed the climate, transitioned the world to cold-fusion power, made contact with extraterrestrial life and started numerous colonies in other solar systems.  8)

...And we discovered eldritch abominations on a surprising number of the colonies.

Some might even have made the jump back to earth without our knowledge!

sweet dreams!

Well, now I've acquired a command line music player.
Still working on learning it and such.

I think you could run a terminal in Emacs.
I don't know about others, though.
Maybe running something simple, like Gnome Terminal, in a more complex terminal?

Confirmation: Emacs can run a terminal within itself.
Cue recursion as you run Emacs in the terminal.

Damn, terminal Emacs in Emacs doesn't want to open up another terminal.
Though, I'm seriously considering installing Emacs instead of a desktop environment when I finally get around to installing Linux on a flash drive.
It can run a terminal, so it has access to lynx, music players, and other things, it edits text, has games, and all sorts of other neat shit.

Do it.

Looking back a few pages, I think you guys should've invested in Defcon Owl Traps to stop the problem from spreading.

Emacs
Emacs
Emacs
More Emacs
Do it.

I have a two gig flash drive that's actually a micro SD card.
I am working on Linuxing it as we speak.
I will watch as those lesser tremble at my mighty text editor-based computational system that I can plug into any computer.
The world will be mine.
I should also get a real flash drive, y'know, one of those 32 gig ones.

Do you really need 32 GB for your command promptapalooza, though?

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Well, no, but it would be nice to have a fuckhueg flash drive.
Two gigs should be enough for a lightweight Emacs-based install.
A high-capacity micro SD would be best, because I could store more music and GH2 and whatever other command line video games I choose to install stuff.
