My suggestion. Just totally uninstall. And then put your BARE MINIMUM IN. After that backup your data folder. There. Easy reverting in case you mess it up again. And get OBMM, Wyre bash, and BOSS.

I did all that, actually (excepting the data backup, that's a good idea I'll do that next time) and I ended up with some weird graphical glitch that I spent weeks troubleshooting before I gave up and uninstalled it all. :(

I may reinstall it in the future. Maybe.

Wyre bash is generally a Oblivion mod swiss army knife, and BOSS automatically sorts your load order by looking at an online compatibility list and sorting them for you.

Wrye Bash also offers superior stability via the Bashed Patch which is a must for FCOM which is a must for Obliviyan.
