I figured out the next two plots for my Deadlands tabletop group.  The second one gives me chills just thinking about it, which means it'll probably work on them just fine.

Riding through a sparse forest of dead trees, the branches' shadows sway gently in the breeze.  Except...there is no breeze, and the trees aren't moving.  How fast can you get out of there?  Well, that's a damn good question, isn't it?

Try pouring large amounts of boiling hot water and dish soap down your computer to clear out the interweb tubes.

I didn't know one could do that without damaging the computer.

You can speed up the drying by putting it in the oven at about 200 degrees for an hour.

That's actually a real fix for some hardware problems.  I think I've seen it for graphics cards, low-quality ones where the soldering fails.  Higher temperatures though; hot enough to just get the solder a little wibbly.  Take the plastic bits off first.  Hey, if you were going to throw it out anyway...

800/800 Critical Reading
680/800 Math
610/800 Writing

I didn't do as well as I'd hoped on the Math and Writing sections (darn that 25-minute essay!), but somehow I aced the Critical Reading section. I think I did fairly well for the beginning of my Junior year. I still have a few more chances to take the Subject Tests on Math and Writing again to see how high I can go.

At least my perfect (how the hell did I do that?) reading score prompted an email from Washington State University... they want me bad now. It's too bad that I really want to go the the University of Washington, but they make a hell of a backup choice.

Open source is good source. Not that I actually touch source code, I just think it's nice because it's cheap and people can do mods for it.
