Alright I've been messing off and on trying to get this on my blog and messing with tags so enough. This was requested by Merchent of Menace, Akura, and Chaoticag. It's my modlist, with links. Now this isn't EVERYTHING I run, but it's what I feel is important.
As a bit of warning the screenshots for the body replacers on this mod MAY contain nudity. Not of the sexual kind but it's still a good idea to add a warning to this. They are also spoilered just in case. Anyway on with the list...
List list!
BUG FIXES! These are important!
Unofficial oblvion patchUnnofficial oblivion patch supplementalUnnofficial official plugins patchUnofficial shivering isles patchAll of those above are important. Get them all and get them first. Next up...
Utilitys.
Oblvion Script extender and
Oblvion Graphics extender. You might also want
Pluggy as some mods require it.
Oh. And the most important thing on this whole fucking list.
Oblivion mod manager. Get it or just don't bother. It makes messing with load orders and installing and uninstalling
complex mods so much easyer.
And now the nice looking part.
Quarls texture pack II[/img]
And now the next part. Gameplay improvements!
Oscuros Oblivion overhaul. Highly reccomended. Makes the game progression feel
more like morrowind. Less scaling. A lot of nice things. There's alternatives if you don't like this one though.
Adrenaline-Fueled Combat A simple but fun combat
enhancement. Adds locational damage, special effects you can add to your power attacks, and all sorts of things.
Cyrodiil Transportation Network Adds an alternative to fast travel. I reccomend getting
Universial silent voice with this as the new NPCs are voiceless.
Chase camera mod Is also good if you play in third person like me. Along with
Fov Modifyer if 75 seems too restrictive for you.
Rens guard overhaul
No more psychics! And more intelligent guards too. They'll actually keep an active watch on you if they see you skulking around or parading about with an unsheathed weapon.
And that's all I feel is absolutely NEEDED. I have others too. So I should list them.
Apachii Goddess Store Sexy and cool/cute clothes. Added to a store in the imperial water front.
Kyomas Jorunal mod. Lets you write your own books and journals! Totally pointless from a gameplay perspective but it's a fun roleplaying thing.
Living economy Makes buying and selling make more sense at times. Also restores the limited gold for merchants.
Persuasion overhaul Removes that silly minigame.
See you sleep Makes you actually lay down in the beds before the menu shows up.
Realistic Physics & Force Package Makes everyone less floaty on death.
Some pose mods. These are always fun~
Modular Beautiful People 2ch-Edition Adds some nice races. And some bleh ones. You can just use the CS to set the ones you don't like to non playable.
Lop-ear elf My prefered race. Needs the pack above. Also comes in a child form linked from the same page. Though that requires
Another modpack to use.
You might also want
Kobus Character Advancement or
Oblivion XP. I use oblivion XP, but if you do remember to check the INI file for it that allows you to customize it further.
In some of my screenshots my character was wearing
This Armor, but I don't use the ESP. I just set the female chainmail and leather meshes to the two variants. You might also want some of
These meshes to replace some of the standard armor if that's your kinda thing. I also personally made a mod that amplifys weapon and spell damage x3, it's easy to make in the CS so no point linking it here, and there ARE better alternatives if you look around.
And that's about it. Enjoy the game and don't forget that there's even more our there too. Just look around. This game seems even easyer to tailor to your needs and wants than Morrowind was. Just be careful with your load orders and everything should be just fine.
