I try to pay attention to everyone's posts here, I reply to ones that interest me personily. Even the other way around, I don't feel like I'm ignored most of the time, and I just act the way I do with my friends here, I don't try to actively seek out attention and get replys.

I'm happy that I'm done with the english essay, submitted it and gotten it over with so I don't have that on my shoulders. I basically have no homework for the remaining bit of school, which is monday.

Well actually a little bit of something for english class and an anthropology final, but yea, I feel like a wieght has been taken off my shoulders as far as the english essay thing.

It really doesn't. I spent quite a while trying to have an actual discussion when I started frequenting GD and found that really, my options were to accept that my posts were effectively invisible, act sycophantic, or post nonstop content-less allcaps sentences that were "lol randum xD" until people were forced to pay attention to me. I chose to just deal with it, but really, I think it's very silly that nobody ever responds to new people in this thread unless they're trending on the current conversation at hand.

As long as you aren't one of the 'popular' people.
If you're one of them, it doesn't matter what you post.
Even the greatest rubbish is bound to get responses.

Some moderation (moderator-wise) in those threads might be advisable though.

Honestly I feel like I know everyone here, even the not-visiting-very-often folks, pretty well.  I mean one thing this topic is good for is keeping up with everyday lives without having to go over to Twitter or LJ or whatever (seriously, if you guys have Facebooks, I don't want to hear about them).

Mostly because you act like Janet's twin sister or something.  For a day or two, I thought you two actually knew each other.

I am officially on the bandwagon that all the impromptu roleplaying and anime-tardout-fests are most annoying than they're worth.  But I'm certainly not doing anything to "stop" them, except complain when the proper context arises.
