I just skyjacked an attack helicopter in Saints Row 2. I had to jump out of my helicopter and parachute onto the attack copter's windshield to do it. I'm pretty sure the devs didn't intend for it to be possible.

Carjacking and Skyjacking don't seem to be in the statistics list. If it didn't require such a precise chain of events I wouldn't think it wasn't intended to be possible.

EDIT: Ok, now I'm flying around blowing up Samdi and I hit a police officer or two because I'm aiming based on my minimap and it's hard to discern targets. So I get 2 stars and the police officers drive directly under me and get out. After a few moments I realize that, bless their retarded AI hearts, they're trying to arrest me the only way they know how, "Go to the target's vehicle and pull him out".

Sorry guys, that doesn't work when I'm a couple hundred feet of the ground.

You gotta mess around with them and navigate them through a maze or something if they're chasing you. Lead them to a water pit or something.
