Phew!

Today was a great day.  Talked to a Russian friend about a lot of neat stuff, and got tea with Aspen.  I think a lot of important things have been cleared up.

Yes you should. If only for the ending. It is amazing... and really makes me a bit surprised that the third game wasn't say, a year later instead of 30.

I can read cursive just fine, it just takes a while. Language was invented so that people could convey meaning quickly and effectively, right?

It can be argued that people normally write much slower than they read.  Cursive tends to even that out a bit, mostly to make it faster to write.  When you need to get a lot of stuff down on paper quickly, it does have its uses.

My handwriting is chicken scratch with a calligraphy style bent to it. Everyone says it's hard to read, but it sure looks nice.

My print is really much faster, though I guess it's a sort of mix between print and cursive.  I find it takes more time to move my hand pressing down than it does to just skip a little space.

Mine tends to be fucked-up cursive. Print is just hard to write.

This is sort of my excuse for my cruddy handwriting. Several letters I do very similarly to their cursive counterparts, and I ALWAYS use print r's and s's because fuck cursive with those letters. And capitals, even though I actually find those fun and interesting, even though they make no damn sense.
