Look, there have always been bad films. First there were the crazy 50's titles that made no sense. They were replaced by the 70's type B-movie. And here we are now. Cinema isn't dead just because bad films exist, calm down.

It's just that I remember so much touching and mind blowing movies and that they've become so damn rare these days.
Atmosphere is also lacking these days, ruined mostly by the silly dialogues they have to build into every movie.
And don't you dare to play this down, using the word 'nostalgia'.

Not every film can be an instant classic. The film industry isn't RUINED FOREVER because of that, and never has been. There will always be more bad films than there are good ones, and that's how it's always been ever since film studios managed to get funding.

Playing with nuclear bomb designs has been making me happy lately.

Just made one, while a little less chain-reactiony than I want, it has a solid trigger mechanism. Might have used the wrong conventional explosive component, nitroglycerin, since it releases it's full force too quickly and doesn't even destroy the entire shell 100% of the time. The original idea was to have something heavy drop onto the nitro, detonating it, but it didn't work, so I switched to a spark ignition of a C4/Thermite compound(specifically, just the C4; electricity doesn't set off the thermite, but the C4 does). It all goes boom from there.
