What makes you think that?

My favorite nutbag professor, mostly, and all the other Poles I've met have been pretty awesome.  That, and I have a bit of a thing for Slavic countries.  The humor, the dark outlook on life, the way people are shaped by brutal weather.  The cultural reverence for hospitality and honor.  Plus, there's the "simple Pole in a complex plane" joke...

I also like small countries, especially ones with beautiful scenery and landmarks >_<

And I love a language that lets Z and W be standalone words.  The spelling is fascinating, and I can't wait to compare and contrast it to Russian.  It just sounds so wonderful ~  I love tasting it.

Yeah.  Normally I'm of the opinion that games don't warp your mind, and 'I need brain bleach' is just an exaggeration.  But that game took it WAY too far for me, into the 'nauseous just thinking about having played it' realm.  Yeah, you the player have to choose to go there, but regardless.  That's the only game I've ever played that I thought was really beyond the pale.


Oh!  And while I can't find my sponge program, this might momentarily entertain some folks who like Mandelbrot and who have SDL.  It's an old and really really crummy version of a thing and only in kind of a voxelish 3d :/  But it gives you kind of a neat view of it, if weird.  Ah the random junk I made in early high school
