My "Shutter Island"-DvD should arrive in a few days.
It looks like the first promising movie in ages.

It's crap. Honestly... And there's a frog in the theme.

I'm happy that I apparently launched a Happy Thread Year thing. But sad that it isn't to my DoB yet.

Well it's already ordered.
And a friend told me it was the closest to the quality of some older movies I liked.

It sure can't be worse than anything else that the film industry has been churning out in the past few years.

Yeah, I want to watch that, too.  I keep forgetting about it.

That and Insomnia.  Once I'm done with the latter, I'll be caught up with Christopher Nolan :D

Apparently not...
Too bad, it was one of the few good books he had ever written.

Pad Thai.

Pad Thai, Pad Thai ~

Also, I accidentally reinvented the Menger Sponge.  That's pretty cool.
Stop making me want thai food D:
All the eastern stuff I have right now is, like, orange chicken.  I haven't had proper pad thai in half a year.
And I adore the Menger sponge <3 It's one of the weird fractals I've rendered in first-person flyable 3d before.

...At 50 posts/page, I have quite a ways to go yet before hitting my birth year (1983).  And it's funny, I always expected to be at the 'wife and two kids' stage by now myself, but paying off my student loans and climbing the ladder makes me not feel too bad about it at least.  Yay for the eventual "nice house my family couldn't afford themselves".  Although if that's my strategy I should probably bump work up to 50-60 hours/week.  Hmm.

I'm older than Nikov? What the hell?

Yeah but I have a wife and two kids, so my effective age is more like 30.

I have a wife, a kid (and probably another one soon,) a car and a truck in my name, three jobs, and I'm a full time student. And enough adventure stories to fill a JRPG.

I'm suddenly really happy to be me. Thanks, Nikov. ^_^
