Okay, so that T98-Next opened up in Wine.

English GUI is here.
It's the second download.

Okay, so that T98-Next opened up in Wine.
Time to reacquire HRtP and see if this works.

Wow, I just downloaded the first five games in like... 20 seconds.

As ridiculous as this is, I'm not actually concerned anymore.

Hey, was your ellipsis a unicode?

I feel like a horrible person now...

Probably.
Japanese keyboard and all, if I just type the periods, it becomes this:。。。
I wouldn't be surprised if the text conversion automatically converts three of those into a single unicode character.

Grah.

Be careful, the book has a very distinct lack of punctuation.
I'm told all of his stuff is like that, but I've only read the Road.

It's not too bad, except for the lack of quotation marks. You get used to it.

He is a fucking poet though. I haven't read The Road, but Blood Meridian was fucking amazing.

Are they mutually exclusive?

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You should pumpkin up that hot chocolate. Take this advice with a metaphorical grain of salt, as I'm the sort of guy who would at the moment pumpkin up his pumpkin. Pumpkin. It's delicious is what I'm saying. I may have a slight addiction, but fortunately admitting I have a problem is the first step to solving it, and also the last as far as I know.
Hmm.. Its all gone now. How depressing.
