Tropico Tres, mucha diversión.

Me compré una nueva isla para hacer o deshacer. Oh, sí.

Spoiler: Translation (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Retranslated (click to show/hide)

And my Tropico avatar is a pirate of the people (more like a self-made man that's well traveled; but this is how I play usually), lazy and paranoid. He is dressed like a pirate, wearing shades.

So far, my island is starting off well. Loyalist faction is happy with my childhood home (they were the initial low), and I made a clinic early to keep the medicare off my back. The intellectuals will take a moment, but fortunately I have a nice means to get some funding, thanks to a rich patch of woodlands to clear cut. And thanks to the tutorial, I have a plan for setting up an infrastructure to at least get the logging/woodwork going for a means of main profit. I hope the farmers don't mind that little distraction.

My primary industry will be distant in time. Right now, I'm just establishing my town before setting up some parking garages. I'm using roads as my primary means of planning alongside demands.

EDIT:
I was surprised at how demanding on my graphics card the game setting auto-tuned to. I don't need THAT much detail. I was fine with the original graphics. I nerfed them to medium at least. Overall, even with lower settings, it's still a rather pretty game.

Received 3 giant summer sausages in the mail yesterday. I'm assuming that's my Secret Santa, in which case...you rock, whoever you are. I usually get a couple of the little Hillshire Farms-type sausages around the holidays and snack on them for a month or so, until finally binging on sausage, mustard, cheese and crackers some night to finish it off.

Given that this was nearly four pounds of sausage, I'm going to be snacking until NEXT Christmas.

Goddammit, I should have tried to get in on this action for the obvious joke.

Somehow, my Japanese ability has greatly improved from dicking around and fleecing customers for all they're worth.
I think you're onto something here. We shall start a language teaching tool that focuses on ripping people off at a store. You shall begin meekly figuring out the number system so you don't sell something worth 10$ for 10 cents, and by the end have enough linguistic skill to sell something worth 10 cents for 10$.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
