I honestly believe Dwarf Fortress is the best videogame in the world.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

It turns out stain and odor sprays work excellently, and my room no longer smells like feces. I'm also glad this pile of crap was relatively solid, as opposed to the more liquidy stuff he's been usually churning out from the diet change.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Win.

But never fear! They have concocted the perfect cure for the disease of happiness! Watch once a day, or until happiness subsides.

I don't know whether this goes in the happy thread or the sad thread, but I'm laughing so I guess it goes here (there might be some Alanis-style irony in posting it here, too). Holy shit, guys.

Don't worry about it just yet. Lunatic psudeoscience hasn't gained enough ground to make this viable at all.

For the record, that is WRONG WRONG WRONG. As it just so happens, Homosexuality was first argued not to belong in the DSM because it did not cause any inherent distress to the "afflicted", one of the key components of somthing being classified as a mental illness.
