Why would you try that at school?WHY? Oh yes, and I used Tvtropes story seeder, and came up with this from a random draw. Lil' Homestuck inspiration here, but it seems faint and sort of happened on the roll.

So, the main character is digging in the basement or something for something to do during summer vacation. Everybody but like, two of his friends left for summer vaction and are doing something important. He finds a chessboard or something, maybe a castle model. With it, there’s a puppet, looking sort of harmless kind of prankster-ish. In one hand it holds a scythe, the other, a clock. There’s a key attached to the foot, and the board of the castle is a little deeper than portrayed. The players are assigned the game pieces at random, the key and pieces are inserted, and the dice are rolled. Then, time stops. The whole suburb is rearranged into the shape of the town on the board, contents have not shifted, everything is still intact. The puppet resides in the tower in the middle of the town. The players have a playing piece, a die, and a playing card. Everyone in the suburb was assigned a role, even the teachers who lived there, and the parents of the children. They have six hours to reach the top of the tower. Hero is a dumber-head, and the teacher in the area kills monsters to help the kids reach the top. Purty good, amirite?
