The Board of Education has 4chan blocked for 'adult content.'
Meanwhile, the random button on xkcd, but not any other page on the site, is blocked for 'social networking.'

Probably came up with "Facebook" and "Twitter" too many times.

My highschool banned access to Wikipedia.  Go fig.

Why would you try that at school?WHY? Oh yes, and I used Tvtropes story seeder, and came up with this from a random draw. Lil' Homestuck inspiration here, but it seems faint and sort of happened on the roll.

Setting:   Cut And Paste Suburb
Plot:   Race Against The Clock
Narrative Device:   Suckiness Is Painful
Hero:   Idiot Hero
Villain:   Perverse Puppet
Character As Device:   Noble Profession
Characterization Device:   OOC Is Serious Business

So, the main character is digging in the basement or something for something to do during summer vacation. Everybody but like, two of his friends left for summer vaction and are doing something important. He finds a chessboard or something, maybe a castle model. With it, there’s a puppet, looking sort of harmless kind of prankster-ish. In one hand it holds a scythe, the other, a clock. There’s a key attached to the foot, and the board of the castle is a little deeper than portrayed. The players are assigned the game pieces at random, the key and pieces are inserted, and the dice are rolled. Then, time stops. The whole suburb is rearranged into the shape of the town on the board, contents have not shifted, everything is still intact. The puppet resides in the tower in the middle of the town. The players have a playing piece, a die, and a playing card. Everyone in the suburb was assigned a role, even the teachers who lived there, and the parents of the children. They have six hours to reach the top of the tower. Hero is a dumber-head, and the teacher in the area kills monsters to help the kids reach the top. Purty good, amirite?

My college blocks damn well everything except mspa, their forums, and these forums. But still blocks the DF main pages, so it's a bit wonky.

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

I knew 4chan was blocked, but I wanted to know why.
I thought xkcd would be blocked, and then it wasn't.
And then I clicked the random button.

I was thinking of buying my friend some good cereal  and a jug of milk for a Christmas present, because he's spendthrifty and will buy anything that fits his fancy even if it throws him into debt, but often never has enough money left over for food. Also, due to a number of phobias that he claims he has, he refuses to accept the perfectly fine free food that is dished out at my school.

Do you think this would be considerate or cheap?

Buy about as much as the average load of groceries, stick stuff in that he likes.

He likes cereal, and speghettios, and these weird fruits that look like oranges but aren't oranges. He needs soft foods, because his teeth are fucked up.

Fruit basket has to be the 'main' thing. Make it seem like you were focused on that. Maybe.

I have long wondered what Lindy Hopping was.

Apparently, it's amazing.
