 But really, we do what we do because we want to be happy and nothing more, unless you are a particularly amazing person. Then your motivation is to make the other person happy.

In less than a week, I've gone from "totally avoids the lower forums at all costs" to "addicted and compulsively refreshes them".

I did that too. I occasionally catch myself refreshing, seeing nothing, opening a new tab, pausing, then opening these forums again. >_>

First I played DF.  Then it became too time-consuming to play!  So I moved on to other games.  Then they became too time-consuming, too.  Now I find it's more important to just have people around!  Ironically, it takes more time than anything else that way.

...What is :3c?  Is it a cat with mandibles, because that's scary.
