Realmfighter, once again, your only options are working them to death or magma. Just pick one and go with it.

Finally beat the Recettear Demo with roughly 2,500 pix after payment. I think I'm finally getting the hang of this game after losing the last 2 times. I guess third time was a charm.

While at it, the adventure mode, I made it to the mid-point of the second dungeon and beat the mid-boss there. Sold some serious loot which put me near 20,000 pix (2-4 days before payment) before having to restock some things just in case of requests. Got tons of ingredients too, but didn't bother crafting anything with them yet. I wanted to beat the demo first. I still have some rather nice items to sell at the moment, and another dungeon to finish, and I ended the demo at Merchant Level 5, and I managed to buy stuff off of a majority of customers at 70% their price; that was rather nice.

I'm gonna wait until it's on sale to get the full version; unless gifted otherwise. This is a pretty fun addicting game.

Many of my sale tactics were rather simple:
Spoiler: My Tactics (click to show/hide)

It's not all that hard. I wouldn't be too surprised if somebody has already made an Excel document on the ideal price ranges for certain customers, with an auto-calculator; in case sales have to be done rapidly, or while paused or something. I think I noticed (in/de)flation pricing as well as I was playing (bought for cheap, base price increased, and I can sell for more; other items got cheaper after I bought them, meaning even when selling for higher, it's still cheaper than usual), so that would have to be accounted for as well.

Also a helpful hint, provided you can afford to: always have 1 of each type of item on hand, just in case of a request. Shouldn't matter too much if it's cheap, unless the customer is the fancy type. Should keep the request requirements at bay, with little loss.

Cheap septuagenarian bastards.  Run 'em out of there, they just want to fuss and complain about how expensive Thankful Statues are at 80% listed price.

I hate those old men.

Meanwhile,
With some quick editing, I'm hoping I can turn them into wallpapers.

As long as you can profit them from the market (not your shop) when you sell them (if you got a good sale price from them), it shouldn't be a total loss. Unless, like I noticed with (in/de)flations, the market crashes.

EDIT:
Just updated my tactic above a bit, elaborating on why a certain tactic works so well.

Really?  Mine like me... it was like, no joke, 20 different dudes who wanted to buy treasure at 120-117% base price.  I managed to get rid of a lot of 118k eagle statues like that.

EDIT: Oh my god, I'm getting so many customers that my FPS halves ._.

Just finished digging out the trenches for the war on terrifyingly terrible winter.

Fuck snow.
