And you discovered this without dying horribly, I assume?

Minor damage to outlying structures on the property. The barn had a small hole through the wall, but my bro and his friends had taken the horses out for a jaunt around.

I saw the Leningrad Cowboys live in concert in like 1998.  Space Tractor was awesome, thanks for the memories.

EDIT: Is this worth a double post?  I guess I'm just too polite.  But holy shit, Strife sent me a PM.  Yeah, Strife.  He is, or was within the past couple hours, in Dallas, on his way to Ft. Hood.  Wow.

So what's the plan? Go to Hood, argue politics, brofist?

It's... It's not in Japanese.  It's about the least Japanese Japanese game I've ever seen.

Like I'm going to argue politics with a guy on a military base.  Brofisting is definitely in the picture.

Yep, it was originally in Japanese before being ported to English.

It didn't cross my mind that someone could get the original Japanese version of the game.  Does it still talk about Adam Smith?

...In spite of the anime sprites and Japanese voice acting...?

It's still unmistakably real Japanese, it's just the least Japanese game I've seen actually made in Japanese styling.

Yeah, don't even bother pointing to Super Mario or some shit, I know I've hipstered my way into a corner here, but I'm not giving it up.

Actually, I sortof see what you mean.  A game that's obviously Japanese without seeming particularly... uh, Japanese?

And I suppose most of the English dialogue was actually invented by the localizers.
