And then there's the one REAL seamstress in the city... leading to much embarrassment for everyone who mixes the two up.
nah, those are needlewomen.
No, I mean the one from some other city in Night Watch. She calls herself a seamstress because she didn't know what that meant in anhk-morpock.

The seamstress thing is actually a multilingual pun. In a certain language (celtic or something), the word for sewing is the same as the word for coitus, so "one who sews clothes for a living" would be...

I dunno, you guys have survived Thomas the tank engine, golems, zombies, nuclear explosions, laser whales, and being on the same team as ragnarock.  I don't think something as tame as a world ending rain of lava will even slow you guys down.

Never really thought about volume compression 'til I read that one article TvTropes linked me to. Now I realize why certain songs just don't sound loud enough. It's not that they're too quiet, it's just that the high-intensity bits are the same volume as the low-intensity ones.

Beat Breath of Fire yesterday, started on Breath of Fire II today.

God so much grinding it's like night and damn day here. I suppose they figured the first game was too easy, but that was only because one character could combine with up to three other characters and it combined ALL their stats. This guy was doing max possible damage on enemies and some bosses a quarter of the way through the game, and doing double the damage of the generic fantasy main character halfway through the game, even when that character can turn into a dragon and get a large attack boost. This game has common enemies that I can easily kill whipping out some magic that takes away half the health of everybody occasionally.

At least one of my guys is a giant frog and my main protagonist escaped that witch that was trying to molest him. Only later to find a restaurant with a witch party going on.

This game is VERY different. More Schenanegans.
