This morning I fell asleep on the bus and didn't wake up at my stop, so I was around three stops away from the campus. This was a good 45 minute hike here, and class started in 15 minutes. Suddenly, out of the blue, some dude offers me a ride. Naturally I keep my hand on my pocketknife in case things turn sour, but it was just an old man who somehow knew I needed a ride. Rockin'.

I spotted an error in my Maths textbook, and corrected it.

It's minor, but it's something.

I did pray and thank God for allowing this guy to not be a sexual predator, so you may want to make jokes on the subject a bit less blunt or else somebody who doesn't know you as you would take offense.

But people taking offence is half the fun.

(Never said it was good fun)

Alchemy? You're supposed to mix quicksilver and sulfur with random substances and see what happens?

No, if I remember correctly we were meant to create Sodium out of thin air while balancing an equation.

No, if I remember correctly we were meant to create Sodium out of thin air while balancing an equation.

Well, air is made of nitrogen and oxygen, and probably some trace elements of almost everything.  You could probably find a way to make sodium out of thin air, if you really want it.

Thin air that isn't involved in the reaction.

Got paid for a 3 week dog sitting job. $450 fer me though $400 of it goes to my parents. Hopefully that family and their friends will need my services in the future as well. Feels good regardless.

Woha, woha. Your family gets 400 and you 50? That post surely should have been in the sad thread.

Except if the 400 will help your family (including you) as a whole. Which it will, i guess.

Did you make 950 with about half going to your parents, or 450 and you parents getting away like bandits?

Also, What the fuck

Unless you have left out some important detail, your parents are cheating you out of your money.
