This was actually kind of scary, but still neat.
More sad than scary for me, but I always love seeing short animations like this. Animators that do them are usually freelance and don't get nearly enough attention for them.

More sad than scary for me, but I always love seeing short animations like this. Animators that do them are usually freelance and don't get nearly enough attention for them.

Ah, it says in the description that it's by a group of French students from a school of animation.  They have a bunch of other stuff up on Youtube, too.

 I see more of a direct message on the bitterness that Germany had after the first World War, and how it fueled the fires that brought around the second one. Unless there was something in the video to show which world war that was, although the visual of the Nazi eagle tearing up Europe again does seem to drive this idea home.

The map at the beggining shows Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the first "explosion" happens in the Balkans - definitely the I WW.
